In 1995, Deputy Daniel “Cully” Pratt, graduated from Lake Stevens High School in Washington State. Deputy Pratt enlisted in the US Army where he spent 8.5 years serving as an Infantryman, Military Police Officer and an Army Recruiter and Retention Officer.In 2003, Deputy Pratt exited the US Army and was hired as a sworn police officer for the City of Pittsburg.   Prior to arriving at the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, he worked as a police officer for 12 years, 6 years with the City of Pittsburg (03-09) and 6 years with the City of Rio Vista (09-15). Deputy Pratt has worked as a K9 Officer (2 years - Pittsburg PD), was an Acting Sergeant (18 months - Rio Vista PD) and a Field Training Officer (FTO) (2 years - Rio Vista PD).  In 2015, Deputy Pratt completed his Bachelor’s program at the University of Phoenix, Arizona and obtained at degree in Business Management and Supervision. Over the past 21 years, Deputy Pratt has worked for a military or para-military type of organization in both military and law enforcement settings. He has gained and shared a variety of experiences with civilians, soldiers and officers alike.

Deputy Pratt understands that public information is necessary and constant. Information is continually evolving and the public has a right to receive information when it becomes available for the safety of their families and to fully understand the services we can and will provide them.
