Grant funding available to support most pressing needs in Solano County
February 3, 2020  SOLANO COUNTY – The County Administrator's Office, as part of the County’s Human Service Needs Assessment study and resultant Community Investment Fund, has released a request for proposals for annual grants of up to $50,000 per grant to address the six most pressing needs in Solano County.

County ROV: Official election materials are in the mail
January 30, 2020  SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Registrar of Voters (ROV) is informing citizens that official election materials have already started being mailed out to registered voters for the upcoming March 3, 2020 Primary Election. Citizens should expect to receive their official election materials in the mail between now and February 3, 2020.

County Public Health closely monitors novel coronavirus
January 30, 2020  SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Solano County Public Health officials are closely working with California Department of Public Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Bay Area health officials to monitor the novel (new) coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. To date, there are no cases reported in Solano County.

First flu-related death reported in Solano County for 2019-2020 flu season
January 23, 2020  SOLANO COUNTY – Solano Public health officials received the first report of an influenza-associated death in an adult Solano County resident for the 2019-2020 influenza season. As of January 4, 2020, there have been 70 reports of influenza-associated deaths among California residents.

District 5 Supervisor seeks applications to fill vacancy on Dixon Fire Protection District and Solano Partnership Against Violence advisory boards
