Assessor-Recorder’s Office temporarily relocates during remodel

February 7, 2017

SOLANO COUNTY – Starting on Tuesday February 21, 2017, the Assessor-Recorder's Office, located on the second floor of the County Administration Center, 675 Texas Street, will relocate temporarily during a lobby remodel, which may impact some customer and self-help services.

"We’re really excited about the opportunity to expand and modernize our existing lobby space," says Marc Tonnesen, Solano County Assessor Recorder.  “Once complete, the newly remodeled Assessor-Recorder’s Office will provide customers with a streamlined and highly efficient experience.”

The Assessor-Recorder’s Office, currently located in suite 2700, will temporary relocate to conference room 2065 on the second floor of the County Administration Center.  Signage will be in place to direct the public on where to go during the remodel.  Construction is anticipated to last four months with work to be completed by June 2017.

Due to the space constraints of conference room 2065, some customer and self-help research services may be impacted.  Customers may experience longer wait times when obtaining services and research information.  Staff will be on hand to provide assistance during the remodel phase.

“We will do everything we can to support our customer needs during the remodel,” Tonnesen says.

The Solano County Assessor-Recorder’s Office provides property assessments and assessment support, vital record copies and records and maintains official records.
