The Montezuma Fire Protection District covers approximately 230 square miles of farm and pasturelands in the delta region of Solano County.  Committee duties include fire code plan checks, inspections, hazardous material response, vehicle extraction, fire investigations, community education and awareness and 24-hour basic life-support services.  Applicants for the Montezuma Fire Protection District serve a four-year term, attend a monthly meeting and must live within Solano County's fifth district.
