District 1 Supervisor hosts “Call to Action” family night

WHO AND WHAT
Erin Hannigan, District 1 Supervisor and Chairwoman of the Board invites the community to join her at the "Call to Action" family night event.  Children will receive a FREE dinner and school supplies.  The event is free and will feature giveaways and family-friendly activities for people of all ages.

FEATURED PARTICIPANTS
In addition to the family-friendly activities, the event will include the following participants:

Mobile Medical and Dental Clinics
The Solano County Department of Health and Social Services, Family Health Services will have the mobile medical and dental clinic vans at the event to provide free, limited medical and dental care as time permits.  Parents must be present with their children to receive these services.

Mobile Food Pharmacy
The Solano County Mobile Food Pharmacy, made possible through a partnership between Solano County Health and Social Services and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, will provide participants with free access to healthy foods, recipes and nutritional advice.

Interactive Informational Booths
Families are encouraged to visit the event's informational booths, including Fighting Back Partnership, Solano Transportation Authority, Child Support Services, Employment & Eligibility, The Eric Reyes Foundation, Travis Credit Union, Safe Routes to School and Solano Pride.

Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Widenmann Elementary School, 1025 Corcoran Avenue, Vallejo
