Solano County moves beyond the Blueprint, COVID-19 Health Order rescinded as the State removes masks mandate and capacity limitations from businesses
June 16, 2021  California has reopened for business as of June 15, 2021, meaning everyday life should feel a lot like before COVID-19. Restaurants, shopping malls, movie theaters, and most everyday places will be open as usual with no capacity limits or social distancing required. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has indicated masking guidelines are revised, and face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated persons when outdoors or indoors in public spaces except as required by local businesses or Cal/OSHA. Anyone can still wear a mask if they would like, especially around children and others who are vulnerable or not yet eligible for vaccination.

Board seeks member of the public for appointment to the Solano Consolidated Oversight Board
June 7, 2021  SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Board of Supervisors seeks a member of the public to appoint to the Solano County Consolidated Oversight Board, a seven-member body that oversees the activities of the six redevelopment successor agencies in Solano County.

Solano County moves into the less restrictive Orange Tier of the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, effective June 2
June 1, 2021  SOLANO COUNTY – The State of California announced today that Solano County will move from the Red Tier into the less restrictive Orange Tier of the Blueprint for a Safer Economy effective Wednesday, June 2, 2021. The California tier-based metrics have helped provide a framework for reopening businesses, schools and other community venues.


Solano County expanding vaccine outreach efforts, focusing on improving access in hard-to-reach, high-risk communities; offers free ride sharing to and from vaccine sites as it nears the less restrictive Orange Tier
May 28, 2021  SOLANO COUNTY - Solano County entered the first of the required two consecutive weeks of improved metrics to qualify for the Orange Tier of the state's Blueprint for a Safer Economy. If local metrics hold steady or improve for another week, many industries and activities will be allowed to expand capacity by June 2, 2021, a couple weeks prior to the state’s move to end the tier-based system on June 15, 2021.

Solano County launches new redistricting website; encourages community participation in the process
May 21, 2021  SOLANO COUNTY – Solano County officials are pleased to announce the launch of the new Solano County Redistricting website, a resource platform to guide the public in understanding the County's redistricting process, the laws that govern it, why it’s important and how to get involved.
