Forensic and Records Service Manager

Lisa began her career with the Sheriff’s Office as an Evidence Technician in 1998.  She promoted to Identification Bureau Supervisor in 2005.  She left the Sheriff’s Office in 2007, re-locating out of state to Kansas.  From 2009 – 2012, Lisa was employed with the Lawrence Kansas Police Department, as an Evidence Technician.  In 2012 she returned to California were she worked at the Solano County DA’s Office, as an Investigative Assistant, in the Consumer Fraud and Environmental Crime Unit.  In 2014, she return to the Sheriff’s Office as the Identification Bureau Supervisor and was promoted to her current position of Sheriff’s Forensic and Records Services Manager in 2017.  In this position she oversees the functions of the Civil Bureau, the Forensic Services Unit, which includes the CAL-ID program and the Records & Warrants Bureau. 

She began her career path in Law Enforcement, in 1995 as an Intern with the Fairfield Police Department in their ID Unit and Property/Evidence Unit.  She was subsequently hired as a Part Time Records Clerk.  In August of 1996, Lisa began working for the Vacaville Police Department, as an Evidence Technician.   

She has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Solano Community College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from Brandman University.  Lisa is Certified as a Crime Scene Analyst through the International Association for Identification (IAI) and is currently serving on the Certification and Training committee of the California State Division of the IAI.
