Emergency Vehicle Operations Course

The Solano County Sheriff’s Office EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) team was created in 2009. The vision for the team was provide driver safety, pursuit driving, and code 3 driving to members of the Sheriff’s Office. The EVOC team is comprised of Sergeants and Deputy Sheriffs. The EVOC Team is responsible for meeting the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) guidelines.

The EVOC Team has provided hundreds of hours to members of the Sheriff’s Office along with officers from various allied agencies in Solano County. Driver safety being the highest priority for the foundation of the training. The EVOC Team supports the BELOW100 training concept to prevent line of duty deaths and injuries through innovative training and awareness.
