Recreational Health Program

Solano County Environmental Health inspects all public swimming pools, spas and other public swimming areas within the County. The program includes permitting and periodic inspections to ensure operators are following sanitation and safety standards. It also includes plan checking and construction inspections of all new and remodeled public swimming pools and spas. We do not inspect private pools or spas maintained by individuals for the use of family and friends.

Applications
New or remodeled public pools and spas are required to submit a Swimming Pool Plan Check Application or Spa Plan Check Application in addition to a plan check fee prior to beginning construction.
