Welcome to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office CCW application page.

Residents of Solano County may apply to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office for a CCW license.

California citizens are not required to obtain a concealed carry license in order to legally own a firearm, and citizens are not required to obtain a CCW license in order to carry a firearm on their private property, including any business property they may own.  You should only apply for a concealed carry license if you have a need to protect yourself by carrying a firearm concealed while away from your residence or your business property.

New Custodial Concealed Carry Weapons License

To apply for a New Custodial CCW license, you must be employed as a Correctional Officer with Solano County Sheriff’s Office. If you meet this criteria and are interested in submitting an application please send inquiry to [email protected]

New Judicial Concealed Carry Weapons License

To apply for s New Judicial CCW license, you must be employed as a Solano County Superior Court Judge. If you meet these criteria, and are interested in submitting an application, please send inquiry to [email protected]

New Reserve Concealed Carry Weapons License

To apply for s New Reserve CCW license, you must be employed as a Solano County Superior Court Judge. If you meet these criteria, and are interested in submitting an application, please send inquiry to [email protected]
