ABOUT THE MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN

Solano County, along with the 7 cities in the county, developed an update to the 2012 Solano County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan to reduce losses resulting from natural disasters.  Hazard mitigation is the use of sustained, long-term actions to reduce the loss of life, personal injury, and property damage that can result from a disaster.

The Solano County Hazard Mitigation Plan website includes 3 options for the public to provide input.  Comments can be submitted directly via the website on the draft documents, using the comment form or by emailing comments directly to the project team.
