MICROCHIPPING - Microchip your pet as part of your responsible pet ownership plan = $25.00. No appointment needed, we offer microchipping any time we are open!
SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS - Raising public awareness on the benefits of spay and neutering pets is very important to us. The benefits not only include reducing the unwanted animal population in our area but increases the life span of our beloved pets and potentially decreases late in life illness caused by lack of alteration.

Public TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release):
Public Trap Neuter Release (TNR) appointments are only on Thursday's this month. These appointments are designated for feral and community cats only. We will not be accepting appointments from rescue group representatives on these days. Only one appointment per household/per week and you must be a resident of Solano County.
Scheduling for October TNR appointments will be available on Wednesday, September 25th at 10am.

Domestic Cats/Dogs: Solano County Animal Care in Partnership with Animal Balance for a Large Scale Spay/Neuter ClinicOctober 25-27, 2024 | Solano County, CA Solano County Animal Care is excited to announce a partnership with Animal Balance to host a large-scale spay/neuter clinic for domestic cats and dogs on October 25-27, 2024. This three-day clinic aims to provide essential spay/neuter services to the community's pets, helping to reduce the number of unwanted animals in the county. Appointment-Only Clinic To ensure that the clinic runs smoothly and effectively, appointments are required and can be booked online. The appointment system will go live on Sunday, September 1st, at 10:00 AM. Due to high demand, each household may book only one appointment, and rescue affiliations will not be accepted. Residents are advised to carefully select the correct slot for their pets based on species, sex, and size. Incorrect bookings will not be rescheduled unless an open slot is available.

Clinic Details: - Dates: October 25-27, 2024
- Eligibility: Domestic, friendly cats and dogs only
- Dogs: Must be between 4mo – 6yrs old. Must weigh under 75 pounds and be on leash at all times.
- Cats: Must be between 4mo – 6yrs old. Must be friendly and transported in a plastic carrier that allows them to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably.
- Breed Restrictions: The following breeds are restricted from this clinic: French Bulldog, English Bulldog, Lhasa Apso, Japanese Chin, King Charles Spaniel, Pug, Pekingese, Boston Terrier, and Shih Tzu
- Service Provider: All surgeries will be performed by a third-party veterinary service and at their discretion.
Important Information for Pet Owners: - This clinic is available exclusively to residents of Solano County.
- Current rabies vaccinations will be required.
- Aggressive dogs are not eligible for the clinic.
- Payment will be collected in full prior to scheduled appointment date.
- Be sure to note the correct slot for your pet’s species, sex, and size when scheduling.

All dogs taking advantage of our low cost spay and neuter services, must be licensed in Solano County and have a current rabies vaccine.
