The County of Solano offers two vision insurance plan options through Vision Service Plan (VSP).

The standard vision plan is a County paid benefit for full-time employees, and provides an annual eye exam for employees and their eligible dependents with a $10 co-pay and new glasses/contacts every 24 months with a $25 co-pay. Lasik eye surgery is also available at a discounted rate.

The enhanced vision plan provides an annual eye exam for employees and their eligible dependents with a $10 co-pay and new glasses/contacts every 12 months with a $0 co-pay. Eligibility for the enhanced vision plan varies by bargaining unit and is subject to an employee contribution each month.
