Public Safety Power Shut-off (PSPS)

Approximately 801 PG&E customers in Solano County will be included in a PSPS that begins at 5 am Monday, 9/20/21. All impacted customers are in *unincorporated areas of Solano County and have been notified by PG&E.

Loan Programs Available to Farmers/Ranchers Impacted by Drought

A Secretarial natural disaster designation allows the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) to extend emergency credit to producers recovering from natural disasters through emergency loans. Emergency loans can be used to meet various recovery needs including the replacement of essential items such as equipment or livestock, reorganization of a farming operation or the refinance of certain debts. FSA will review the loans based on extend of losses, security available and repayment ability. Deadline to apply is November 5, 2021.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has declared Solano County a disaster area resulting from the drought. This makes SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans available to small, non-farm businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, and most private non-profit organizations of any size. Small businesses include those that do business directly with the growers, such as truckers and suppliers of agricultural equipment or services. Deadline to apply is November 5, 2021.
