The current State Public Health Officer Order is in effect until March 12, 2023 (available here).The new State Public Health Officer Order takes effect on March 13, 2023 (available here).
California's COVID-19 State of Emergency ended on February 28, 2023. The federal Public Health Emergency (PHE) for COVID-19 will end on May 11, 2023. In California, COVID-19 response efforts remain a public health priority even though the State of Emergency is ending. The state's SMARTER Plan, which looks at where the state has been and draws on lessons learned from our collective experiences, will ensure a level of operational preparedness to support communities and appropriately respond to future outbreaks. Solano Public Health will continue to align with guidance from the state.

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations will no longer be offered at the Community Health Hub located at the Solano Town Center Mall in Fairfield after Saturday, January 28, 2023. If you are interested in getting vaccinated, please reach out to your healthcare provider. There are still several community vaccination clinics available throughout Solano County. The LHI / OptumServe testing and treatment sites located in Vacaville and Vallejo will close permanently effective Sunday, January 22, 2023. For additional testing options available, you can visit your primary care provider or order free at-home kits at covid.gov/tests. Additional information can be found here.
