The Solano County Sheriff's Office Civil Division main office is located in Fairfield. All money judgment writs of executions are processed through the Fairfield Office. The operational hours are noted in the "How to Contact Us" section. The civil staff is comprised of both clerical and sworn staff. Clerical personnel process incoming requests for service and enforcement of judgments and distribute these process services and enforcement actions to the field deputies for completion. They also collect money received on wage garnishments, bank levies and other enforcement actions and distributes the money to the judgment creditor(s) or a designee towards satisfying the court ordered judgment.
The Civil Division sworn staff is dedicated to civil enforcements and process services. Civil Division sworn personnel perform evictions throughout the county twice a week. They serve all civil process and enforce civil judgments per court orders and instructions from the plaintiff or the plaintiff's attorney.
Intake Process: Service documents are received at our office in person, mail, or through our E-services portal. The clerical personnel will assign a file number to the document upon opening a file with our office. Please know your Sheriff's file number and/or court case number and have a pen and paper to write down requested information when you call. Having the Sheriff's file will facilitate future inquiries with Civil Division staff about the status of your service request.
